The predecessor of Weich & Kriel Inc. was PJ Kilian Attorneys.

Mr Kilian commenced his practice in 1972, and was, for a long time, the only legal firm in Pongola. PJ Kilian Attorneys was incorporated in 1996, and thereafter amalgamated with two other firms, namely, Weich Attorneys and Francois Kriel Attorneys.

This merger in turn provided the basis on which Weich & Kriel Inc. was formed.
