Ephraim, a gentle soul, started his career as a teacher at King Phumzuzulu High School. He quickly rose through the ranks, and subsequently became a principal at Phondwane Primary School in 1992. While caring for his community as an educator, Ephraim had a thought - what if he could ensure the prosperity of the people in a more definitive way?

It was this sort of thinking that caused Ephraim to embark on an academic walkabout, during which he obtained (among other things) his Bachelor of Arts degree (majoring in Anthropology and isiZulu). He was eventually lead to the legal profession - Ephraim decided that it's never too late to learn something new, and so he set off on a long journey of distance learning, the end of which saw him earning his LLB. Now, during his retirement as a school principal, he articles at our practice and aspires to become an attorney.

His dedication to education and his unwavering commitment to the community has made him a local leader, consequently people continually look to him for wisdom and guidance. Ephraim's close ties to the community and his affectionate disposition has made him an invaluable member of the team here at Weich & Kriel, and we are excited to see how he'll use the skills he learns from us to give back to the people.

In his spare time, Ephraim enjoys reading, politics, and music. He is happily married to his wife, Nokuthula, and they have been blessed with three sons.
